We gather together on the 2nd Saturday of every month to help the homeless in our community.
Throughout the month, we collect toiletries to give out: toothpaste, deodorant, razors, soap, toothbrushes, and other needed items. Please note there are restrictions on clothing items accepted at this time.
We provide a free dinner for the community. This is a "no strings attached" meal, so come and enjoy good food and good fellowship.
These are held on the 2nd Friday of certain months, visit our Community Dinners page for dates and times.
BROTHERHOOD & WMU (Women's Missionary Union)
The Ruth Beale Circle meets each month and talks about missions at home and abroad.
We meet monthly to talk about the needs of those in the church and how we can meet those needs.
We also get together for breakfast at the church each month.
VIRGINIA BOYLE'S GROUP
The Virginia Boyles Group meets each month at the church to talk about missions at home and abroad.
NEW SHOES FOR
BACK TO SCHOOL
Every summer, we collect shoes along with 12 other congregations and a synagogue. On Labor Day, we give them out to kids in the Greater Richmond Area.
Every year, starting after Thanksgiving, we sell Christmas trees to raise money for not only mission trips, but for outreach projects within our community, state and beyond.
The trees go on sale the Friday after Thanksgiving and we strive to keep our prices reasonable.
Every Christmas season, we participate in the The Christmas Store. This designed to help parents provide gifts for their children on Christmas Day who otherwise could not afford to do so.
Our planning team works with the Chesterfield School Social Worker office to reach the families that need help.
