The traditional meaning of Homecoming is: the welcoming back of former members and celebrating an organization's existence. As we are beginning our revitalization at Lyndale, we celebrate our steadfast existence and bright future.
With this in mind, we are celebrating Homecoming on Sunday, June 11and look forward to gathering together in celebration of what’s in our past and what’s to come. This is an exciting time, so please mark your calendars and plan to attend!
We will have lunch on the church grounds following worship. Break out your best recipes (or your favorite store’s recipe) and bring it to share. Please bring enough for your family and guests. Take this opportunity to invite those you haven’t seen for a while at church and those who have never attended Lyndale who might enjoy a day of fellowship and good food. Let’s get excited about this special day!
This year we have decided to dedicate our Homecoming offering to the new fencing at the church. Please write "Homecoming" in the memo line of your offering check.
