The annual CCHASM Thanksgiving Meal Program has been around for many years serving our neighbors in need in Chesterfield County, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Petersburg, and Prince George.
In 2022, CCHASM’s Thanksgiving Meal Program was able to provide 4,192 Thanksgiving Meal Bags and grocery gift cards to area families in need so they are able to have a Thanksgiving meal.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
For Thanksgiving 2023, please consider a donation of non-perishable food items and a $20 grocery gift card (to purchase perishable items such as butter, fresh vegetables and turkey) for a Thanksgiving meal gift package. Last year, Lyndale was able to provide 15 meal bags and we hope to increase our donation to 20 meal bags this year.

MEAL BAG ITEMS SHOULD INCLUDE:
(1) 40-oz can Yams or Sweet Potatoes
(1) 13-oz box Mashed Potatoes
(1) 14-oz can Cranberry Sauce
(1) 15-oz can Corn
(2) 15-oz cans Green Vegetables (same kind)
(2) Boxed Stuffing Mix (no bags)
(2) Canned/Packaged Gravy (no glass jars)
(1) Box Hot Chocolate
(1) Box Tea Bags
(1) Boxed or Bagged Cookies (large package)
We ask that all meal bags are received by Sunday, November 12th for us to deliver Lyndale’s donation to the distribution center on Tuesday, November 14th.

If you prefer to give a monetary donation, please write your check to “Lyndale Baptist Church” with "CCHASM Thanksgiving Meal" in the memo section and place in the collection plate or leave in the church office
